Arugam Bay is a fishing village on Eastern coast and believed to be the best surfing area in Sri Lanka. Beach is a wide sweeping sandy beach and attracts tourists for surfing and swimming throughout the year. Arugam Bay is the place where the first international surfing competition was held by ISA.
